Description
MOTUL 8100 X-clean + 5W-30 Application. High-performance, 100% synthetic motor oil, specially developed for the gasoline and diesel engines of the latest-generation autos, meeting the requirements of Euro IV and Euro V norms and requiring the oils with the high HTHS viscosity (more than 3.5 mPa/s), reduced sulfated ash (0.8%), phosphorus (0.07%-0.09%), sulfur (0.3%) - Mid SAPS. The oil is compatible with the catalytic converters and DPFs of the exhaust gas after-treatment system. It is recommended for use in the engines of the latest generation installed in the following vehicles: BMW, MERCEDES, PORSCHE and VAG (VW, AUDI, SEAT, SKODA). They can be used in the gasoline and diesel engines requiring the ACEA C3 motor oil. Read your auto owner’s manual before using the oil. Features. The engines meeting the Euro IV and Euro V requirements are equipped with very sensitive exhaust gas after-treatment system: Sulfur and phosphorus in the exhaust gas reduce the catalytic converter efficiency. Sulfated ash adheres to the elements of the DPF which leads to the increased fuel consumption and reduced engine power. The BMW LL-04 standard imposes the severe restrictions on the oil, especially with respect to the Valvetronic and exhaust gas after-treatment systems. This standard meets the requirements of all BMW engines produced after 2004 and BMW engines with the previous LL-98 and LL-01 approvals. ATTENTION: This product can be used in the gasoline engines of BMW autos only in the EU, Switzerland, Norway and Lichtenstein. Beyond these countries, it is required to use the lubricant with the BMW LL-01 approval, such as MOTUL 8100 X-cess 5W40. Read the BMW recommendations before the application. The MB 229.51 requirement restricts amount of sulfated ash, phosphorus, sulfur (SAPS) to ensure the compatibility with the Mercedes exhaust gas after-treatment system. Such oils can be used in case of the changeable oil change intervals according to the controlled on-board computer. MB 229.51 specification covers some MERCEDES gasoline engines and all MERCEDES diesel engines equipped or not equipped with the DPF. PORSCHE presented the C30 standard to ensure excellent lubrication of all V6 (Porsche Cayenne) gasoline and diesel engines. Porsche 30 approval means that the oil meets all the highest requirements to the oil film stability. VOLKSWAGEN VW 504 00 and VW 507 00 approvals require that the oil is fully compatible with the exhaust gas after-treatment systems, such as catalytic converters and DPFs. It ensures the long service life of most gasoline and diesel engines of VW, AUDI, SEAT and SKODA. MOTUL 8100 X-clean+ 5W-30 fully complies with BMW, MERCEDES, PORSCHE and VW requirements which set their restrictions to the high HTHS viscosity oil (more than 3.5 mPa/s) with the reduced sulfated ash, phosphorus and sulfur content to ensure the compatibility with the exhaust gas after-treatment systems. Recommendations. It is changed according to the OEM recommendations for the equipment. It can be mixed with mineral and synthetic oils. Check your auto owner’s manual before the oil application. Standards: ACEA C3. Approvals: BMW LL-04, MB 229.51, Porshe C30, VW 504 00 - 507 00
